Apple Music Import Guide

stats.fm Plus required

To be able to import your Apple Music streaming history, you need to have stats.fm Plus.

1. Request your data from Apple

  1. You will need to go to https://privacy.apple.com
  2. Click “Get a copy of your data”
  3. Only select “Apple Media services”
  4. Scroll down and click the blue “Continue” button
  5. A “Choose a maximum file size” option will appear; you can leave it at the default and just click the blue “Complete request” button.

2. Turn on Stream sync to prevent a gap in your data

To ensure you do not miss any data, you can turn on the Sync streams setting after you have requested your files. You can do so on the Settings -> Connections page on the mobile app.

3. Wait until you receive your data

Apple files typically take about seven days to arrive, but it can sometimes take a few extra days.

4. Download the files

Once your data is ready, you'll get an email with a link to download a .ZIP file.

5. Import your files

You can import your Apple Music data on the mobile app or by going to https://stats.fm/import. Then, you can select the full ZIP file and let the app or website do everything for you, or you can manually upload the "Apple Music - Play History Daily Tracks.csv" file.

6. Ready to go!

Congratulations! You can now view your entire listening history, play count, and much more. Your future streams will be synced to the database automatically (if you are streaming online).
